Design of Goal-Oriented Artifacts from Morphological Taxonomies: Progression from Descriptive to Prescriptive Design Knowledge
نویسندگان
چکیده
Morphological Taxonomies are a widely popular tool in Information Systems to systematically deconstruct an artifact into designable dimensions and characteristics. Subsequently, these taxonomies have engraved them knowledge about the design of artifacts, i.e., descriptive knowledge. Most studies producing morphological refrain from giving prescriptive advice design, specific configuration artifact, but rather stay descriptive. The paper proposes framework for transformation originating ending principles. We develop that assists researchers practitioners by showing clear paths on transforming as

From Descriptive to Prescriptive Models of Agent-Oriented Information Systems
We propose a methodology where the modelling of AgentOriented Information Systems starts from the modelling of strategic relationships between the actors involved, and continues by means-ends analysis connecting business goals to the tasks used for achieving them. Following that, strategic relationships are represented by using the notion of metacommitment, and lifecycles of commitments are mod...

From Cognitive Artifacts to Social Artifacts: The iDeas Design Ecology
This dissertation explores the integration of physical and digital interactions for artifacts used in design sketching and brainstorming. The proposed system supports design practice using an ecology approach; an ecology is a collection of tools and content used by a group such that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Expected contributions include novel models of sharing and collab...
متن کاملSystematic Construction of Goal-Oriented COTS Taxonomies
The use of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components is becoming a strategic need because they offer the possibility to build systems at reduced costs and within shorter development time. Having efficient and reliable COTS components selection methods is a key issue not only for exploiting the potential benefits of this technology, but also for facing the problems and risks involved. Searching...
